The Grass and Sky Say Goodbye
By Jae Lear
Green triangles connect and each contains gold dashes, a dark blue triangle, black outlines, gold circles, a square brass stud, and a light blue triangle with parallel lines in the center. When searching for meaning in this piece post-creation, I imagined it as the scene in our eyes when we die. In the end, the grass and sky say goodbye to you, and you can remember them one last time in this beautiful design.
Colored glue, oil- and water-based marker, acrylic paint, and brass studs on a 16x20” canvas.
